After several months of paperwork, the City of Constantine has achieved an employment workshop for the municipality. This Workshop on Employment, starting on 30 this month, has been called "Navalvillar" and consist of two modules "Cleaning and Maintenance of Gardens" and "Forest Worker."

With this program, 24 students selected (12 for each module), shall during the term of 1 year over a period of paid training, work practices and the possibility of subsequent integration into the labor market by self-employment or otherwise of occupation. We

granting the Workshop on Employment of the Ministry of Employment of the Regional Government and the European Social Fund and SAE (Andalusian Employment Service) is the agency to conduct the selection process of beneficiaries of the Workshop Employment.

Today Monday December 13 we proceed to convey everything about how it will carry out this selection to all those who have been shortlisted by the SAE for the Workshop and meet the requirements.

achievement is especially remarkable in view of economic and employment crisis that affects us. That this initiative, the list falls Constantina stop for a year in twenty to twenty-four names for residents over 25 years, learn a trade and get a respectable monthly salary, is something that we should all feel happy.

But not only relieves the ratio of unemployed people in our town but those twenty-four students are trained professionally and is made possible, thus its future inclusion in the labor market, both for others as their own, plus green spaces of our community will benefit from the work of these people during their training.

thus providing employment and helping to conserve our natural environment are the two main objectives of this workshop will benefit Constantine during this next 2011 and the grant, by the Junta de Andalucía to Constantine, we are delighted.

PRESS BLOG ON THE USE OF THE WORK BEGINS

When put into operation this blog I did, as at the entrance reads "Welcome to the Blog" with the intention to create a link directly communication between citizens and their mayor, for that I will consult, doubts or questions, by committing myself to publish them as long as they were from the respect and seek the common good and good for our people. That is, all those who could not attend a meeting with its mayor for many reasons, could make it through this medium.

Fortunately I have to say, and everything posted and answered on the blog I refer, that the vast majority of people have approached me through this blog have done in the terms expressed above, what can contrast that has been a fluid communication. But there have been (very few cases) who have understood that anonymity is the perfect state to air personal vendettas or to work with others, and they have tried to use this medium to that from exert the council labors of labor inspection, for example, or to block the blog operation with a string of inappropriate questions to be answered here, which is not going to happen, let alone those hide behind anonymity to torpedo an initiative that I launched with the best intentions. These people do not seek communication and information with their mayor, but other things less palatable.

Therefore I would like to make clear that I remain available to all citizens who wish to put something through this medium. I also must point out that, like when a citizen requested an appointment to meet with me to address the issues he sees fit, I would like to whom they are addressed in this blog do so under the same premise, ie that identify and to raise their issues with the same respect I will deal with their problems. And if someone wants their 'digital interview "with me is in absolute reserves, as in personal interviews, just to contact the email I have provided and will only answer that person in your personal mail , which is not public domain. Those on the other hand want their comments or questions displayed published, for the continued running the blog.

When put into operation this initiative was aware that this would happen sooner or later, because some people can not properly use half as free as this one, and also do not care. Anyone can fully understand that there are others who see this initiative for the perfect opportunity for little or no constructive , and that is not acceptable.

I remain willing to citizens Constantina contact me through this medium and resolve their issues, if possible. But making it clear that there is no room for those who insist, covered seeking anonymity in the process of confrontation and not only for me, but toward the residents of our town through anonymous complaints are not looking for a solution to a problem, but to create a climate of revenge and confrontation in our country . Nor will there be room for those who try to take this opportunity to purely personal or political. This blog has been created to promote coexistence and understanding between the citizens of Constantine and the Mayor, to be closer to their problems, and, to the extent possible, resolve them.

I'm working on.

CONSOLIDATION OF THE CASTLE

In the entry dated September 3, 2010 " Information Torre del Homenaje" recounted the steps taken by the government team following the sad loss of our castle battlements.

He announced that the start of the refurbishment of the Castle had been delayed by the necessary amendment to the initial project and that if everything ran as it should, and was sure it would work on consolidation and enhancement of the Castillo de Constantina, by FEDER funds, should begin this September.

Well, words are already made. On 27th September our citizens could watch a different profile of our castle: the two towers still standing began to scaffolds for strengthening and tranquility for all, also a government team worried the most for our heritage and its potential loss .
I have been mindful, as Mayor, the time and these have been met. They are good news for everyone because when such work completed between now and three months, and the structures are removed we can contemplate a building to be studied and received their appropriate rehabilitation care that will enable the preservation of our castle.

is an issue that really concerns me as Mayor, it is easy to dump blame on who currently holds the government, I understand, but no one should forget or ignore that I am a citizen as well as Mayor Constantine and as such agree on many issues and concerns that you uneasy to you, with the addition that now I am he who has the responsibility to solve them.

loss of our historic castle is a clear example of all these concerns inherent to me. And I assure you I will not cease my efforts to move all wires and find ways to achieve accurate reconstruction of the Torre del Homenaje. As a politician it is my duty as citizen who will live in Constantine after being a mayor, too.

why I like to have the confidence of all in I'm working and doing all my best efforts, for which I would also very important to have public support for a Constantina equally concerned about the Castle, which is capable of carrying out all actions within its scope of citizenship .

To demonstrate that process and it is no vain discourse, I share with you that the CEO of Culture of the Andalusian Government has informed me on the day yesterday that the reconstruction project of the Keep has already been done and finalized, it intends to deliver us the same in the coming days. Once in our power to forward it to the Ministry of Public Works to apply for funding for the reconstruction of the Tower through the Cultural 1% as I reported earlier. Another issue is that funding granted to us, but do not fit doubt that we will work hard to achieve. As you can see we work for our castle and our people.

INTERVENTION IN THE GARDEN OF SANTA ANA

I received a request for the entry "Welcome to the Blog" in which an anonymous caller asked me to clarify what is going to consist of intervention that we will execute on the garden of Santa Ana But before getting down to a question I would like to make clear, as the caller tells me not wanting to identify with and feel that I knew this was a risk that could occur.

clear that I would not consider a risk that many callers prefer to remain anonymous. I have expressed in this blog that will attend all queries or requests provided they are respectful, and so far it has been forever. If someone takes the trouble to check the occasional blog of some mayors will see that they do not answer anonymous. Not for me, since someone could sign a false name and would be virtually the same. What really interests me is to give citizens the opportunity to connect directly to the mayor, and this is not essential for identification. What is certain is that it is appreciated when some identified and furthermore we know, since I know who I'm talking about. But as I say that is no barrier to having good communication.

said this step to inform the intervention of the garden of Santa Ana which is what matters to this caller and many others.

First, let me make it clear that in the garden of Santa Ana is going to execute some actions for the improvement and beautification that will respect the appearance of the garden, its vegetation, the space of this and all your trees. It will replace any that delimits the railing on its perimeter by a new but respecting the hedges that currently exist. It will place new banks whose face will be in line with the environment, new streetlights and a wifi network outside the garden for all those who want to connect to the Internet can do for free while enjoying a beautiful living space.

ground As envisaged in the project will be a kind of colored limestone albero that does not clash with the color of the land currently owned, but after receiving some advice from people expert in heritage we decided that when we are in the implementation phase we will propose that the ride (land) still maintains some kind of compacted earth as in the ring or any other elements mixed with earthen which at the time deem appropriate, for the reasons We have put forward (feeling of freshness when watering, smell, visual impact, etc.) believe that they are accurate and reasonable.

Outside the garden, and before the door of the Church of Our Lord Jesus, be paved with cobblestones that beautifies the porch of the church, paving will be extended to the entire lateral retaining wall Causeway Street Jesus will change the ladder from that street access to the esplanade of the church to make it more convenient and current, and finally put a guardrail along the entire retaining wall above.

This, together with the rehabilitation of Cattail of the Church would soon be implemented under the municipal budget, beautify the area and make it more convenient and attractive for the enjoyment of citizens.

changes always produce conflicting views on public affairs. But if we respect the environment and we have the availability to listen to those who think to improve a little (which is) always have a better chance of succeeding in acting. And my government team has given ample evidence of listening to our citizens to improve among all our people.

Best Regards.

Fruit Flies In My Money Tree

INFORMATION ON NEW CHANNELS OF INFORMATION

Picking a couple of comments posted on this blog about the new DTT channels that have been in service depending on which sites or area, then I will explain the steps taken in this regard.

free TV for all was one of the main objectives from the PSOE government team we set at the beginning of this term. In the year 2007 only saw parts of Constantine public television and almost no private place, being condemned to pay for cable television (KTV) and satellite (Canal +).

After numerous negotiations in which we visited several companies, including facilities Valencina repetition, we conclude that the best technological solution quality and future, was to reach an agreement on early in Constantine emissions DTT. To achieve this goal, we signed a cooperation agreement with the company Abertis Telecom (RETEVISION) leader in the sector, highly regarded, we ensured quality facilities, a wonderful service and the possibility of subrogation to the service in the future.

Which are theirs, not the council as someone has said) being issued pursuant to the contract they have with the broadcasters that are by law obliged to provide coverage for DTT.

coverage that local broadcasters are obliged to provide by law is 98% of the territory public broadcasters, and 96% private broadcasters.

DTT ( Digital Terrestrial Television) expands its range of canale s. Brand TV, The 10, MTV, 13 TV, NITRO and BOING are some of the channels of the new offer, plus other pay-as Canal + 2 and TVE HD , were assigned on 3 April by the Council of Ministers by Royal Decree 365/2010, which governs the allocation of multiple Digital Television Land after the cessation of terrestrial television broadcasting with analog technology.

Posts contact business leaders have reported Abertis that broadcasters are service contracting phase with the companies responsible for the repeater, and I confirmed today that all new channels (National Private , regional and local) are being issued without any problems from Valencina station whose signal can be received in some parts of town. Regarding the issue of these channels from the premises of Constantine, is scheduled to be broadcast before the end of the year, but now it is impossible to give an exact date. They are committed to keep us informed of developments they occur, and that does not fit anyone doubt that we will manage this issue to get the new channels can be viewed in every household in our town.

Making A Chicken In Le Crueset

TDT TOWER WELCOME TO BLOG TRIBUTE

On March 10 this year, and as a result of heavy suffered during the winter rains, fell one of the most important symbols of our heritage village: La Torre del Homenaje del Castillo of Constantine.
For all those who could not reach the information for any of the usual channels would remind me today in this blog and the Castle was then pending action by consolidation and enhancement in the amount close to half a million euros, which will be financed with FEDER funds and the participation of the Provincial de Sevilla. In the Quick
action is contemplated rehabilitation and then securing the three towers still exist, but unfortunately and due to the rainstorm the Keep collapsed. With so unfortunate event was the first thing was to carry out urgent emergency work and back safety study on the two remaining towers, which were fully work funded by the Diputación Provincial de Sevilla through its Department of Culture gave early as the refurbishment of the Castle. This work, which should have started a few months ago, have been delayed because the original project had to undergo modifications that had to be approved by Madrid to execute the works with FEDER funds. If all goes as it should be the work of consolidation and enhancement of the Castle of Constantine should begin this month of September, and although I'm pretty sure it will, I like to use prudence when it comes to deadlines and dates announced depending on the various superior administrations.
But what really moves me to publish this information is not re-discuss what has happened and has been explained, or repeat projects and figures that have already been given. The main reason this information is to inform all our neighbors, sons of Constantine who live outside and heritage, what we have done about it since then until today, since all have shown a significant share my concern that the government team .
Being aware of what led to the fall of the Tower, and after the emergency and safety work, we set a priority to try to get the Andalusian understood that the possibility to rebuild the Tower was something important worth bearing in mind, both as an important heritage posed to municipal and citizens of Constantine. We knew it was an arduous and difficult, especially when the times are not exactly buoyant for the economy of the various administrations, but with the firm conviction that if there are X euros, which are, to restore equity, Constantine had to try to get some of those Euros subsidizing the possible reconstruction of the Tower.
One of the first actions we decided to conduct my government team was the one I meet with the CEO of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía to calibrate what chances we had. Due to the complexity of the case decided to request the participation of Ms. Delegate of the Government of Andalusia, and after discussions it was decided that we see gathered with the Director General of Cultural Properties, also of Andalusia.
In early July we met at the headquarters of the Directorate General of Cultural its Director, Delegates of Culture and Government and myself. At that meeting I provided a study for the reconstruction of the tower designed by architect D. Fernando Vilaplana, which at all times worked selflessly. The study provided examples of similar experiences in the field heritage properties that have been reconstructed in several European countries and in ours. Suffice it to cite as examples the Bell Tower of San Marco in Venice, the Bridge of Mostar in Bosnia or the Water Tower in the Alhambra in Granada.
The outcome of the meeting invited a relative optimism: The Director General of Cultural Assets of the Andalusian Government agreed to subsidize part of the rebuilding of the tower if the Ministry of Development subsidizing the other hand through the Cultural 1%. It should be mentioned that in principle, the estimated budget of 600,000 euros.
For those who do not know the 1% Culture is an economic quantity that the Government intended to restore national heritage and that it comes just 1% of all public works carried out in the country. For the 1% Grants must meet several important requirements, and yet there is often no funds for all applicants, and each year tend to be much larger quantities applied to the funds available. As in almost everything.
But prior to the grant request to the Ministry logically have to present an important and expensive project. To do this I met again with the Delegate of Culture in that same month, the result of the meeting was the commitment in principle by the Commissioner to order the project to rebuild the Tower budget of that Department of Culture. And so we are. If no unforeseen occur
not covered on today, once we give that project, which was decided that parties were aiming for the Provincial Heritage Committee, be sent to the Ministry of Public Works to enter Madrid one of the joint committees which decide who are awarded grants according to the degree of importance of applications nationwide. To the Mayor of Torre del Homenaje Constantine has the highest, of course, and that is why in the same month as did all the above steps I took one of the visits of the Minister of Public Works to our province to personally deliver a letter requesting him to take the interest is due to our project when it is forwarded to his Ministry.
These are the steps taken to date and thorough account of which has two representatives from the platform created to help rebuild our tower. The month of August is incompetent for many purposes in the administration, so in this September I will return the proceedings to no decline in interest brings us all. Otherwise the results. Hopefully that desired by all, but work will not be.

Leeking Heart Valve Procedure

Dear Citizens: New technologies

Mariano Fernandez, Pablo Lorenzini.

primaries are approaching the Christian Democrats and the three candidates offered to the membership, I am convinced that Mariano Fernandez leads the best for the times we live this party and the Coalition.

There are several similarities between the lists, but the No. 2 promises a 100% dedication to serve the DC with responsibilities specific for each of its members. Elementary open and competitive, ongoing training of its members, administrative reform to modernize the community. Is a candidate for the party, all without lots or movements.

decided to be the opposition ... to dry, that said citizens to relegate to second place, and do not hesitate to do so with a model of modern development to obtain sufficient resources for proper and adequate tax reform that considers the incredible profits of mining companies , banking and other sectors. Our universities and their students and teachers get what they need and that our municipalities to develop their work in a reasonable manner.

No to coal plants and others that harm the environment and yes to a state AFP are some of our dreams.

No more diagnoses, recommendations and studies are at it, we want action and practical work by appointing our municipal candidates next April and to do with the national board of directors and the field, sitting in regions and listening to the real problems citizenship. For that two former ministers, three MPs (including two of the most voted party and one of the youngest, Victor Torres) two high-level professionals, a municipal councilor and president of popular areas.

Without a strong PDC no future or to the party itself or to the conclusion, and if we return to be credible by 2014 we must first begin by changing ourselves, because as usual is sure defeat. Therefore, it is not the same for whom to vote on 29 August: Mariano Fernandez is the man.

Why Tesco Is Successful In Online Grocery

shunga in SOAS exhibition of shunga shunga

In recent days, at a meeting of colleagues in Kyoto, among some other project future , surrounded by beer, sake and eel, it emerged that the large-scale exhibition of shunga is preparing British Museum in 2013, for whose realization are organizing various activities and workshops (as I mentioned in last post ) 1 , and that that meeting was part to some extent.
This exhibition will be the largest example of shunga so far has been done internationally, returning to Europe to be the preferred forum for the organization of such events. Trying to remember a little from exposure cure Marco Fagioli in 1989 for the Musée d'ILX-elles, Brussels, the most recent samples that have been dedicated in whole or part to be Japanese erotic prints: Kielletyt kuvat - vanhaa eroottista taidetta japanica "(Museum of the City of Helsinki, 2003)," Lentelust. Erotische Fantasia in Edo Japan "(Kunsthal, Rotterdam, 2005)," The Bibliothèque L'Enfer. Eros au secret "(Bibliotheque Nationale de France, 2008)," The Art of Love : Ofer Shagan's Shunga Collection (Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art, Haifa, 2009), " Shunga. Arte nel Giappone ed eros Edo period (Palazzo Reale, Milan, 2009), and " Imatges secrets. Picasso i l' Japanese erotic prints (Picasso Museum, Barcelona, \u200b\u200b2010).

Interestingly
Puritan's reluctance to make such exhibitions in the United States. Not only has not presented any, but also the few academic North American products have been launched to study shunga occasionally, either working in institutions in that country. For the Latin American case, in my opinion, stronger than the prudish itch believe that the strongest reasons to not have thought of such an exhibition would be the widespread ignorance that exists in these parts, the almost complete absence of specialists the issue, juggling the search for resources and do not forget, the "interest" in other exhibits more "bombastic."
However, returning to the theme of the last meeting in Kyoto, even though these pieces were part of urban popular culture of XVII, XVIII and XIX of Japan, and fortunately we know today that some large private and public collections, has never made a display of shunga there. The only attempt content was a small sample "semi-private partnership" that was mounted last year at the Art Research Center of Ritsumeikan University (Kyoto), to accompany the first activity of this series of workshops that will precede the British display. Of course, this was only the knowledge of those attending the event and was never announced publicly.

The reasons behind no explicit ban for shunga exhibitions in Japan lies in the ways that even today, the legal apparatus considers these parts, considered ambiguous and often absurd that depart from the way they were classified as "obscene "from the import process (from above) of many of the Western modernizing discourse in the second half of the nineteenth century, including Victorian puritanism.
Despite attempts by certain groups of editors, artists and, above all, academics to change this situation, despite the impact of the past 5 years they have had on public opinion from adoption of strategies shunga conversion into "art" (very questionable strategy by the way, and are abundant enough in my new book which is already published FNES this year), it seems not very promising future of public display of shunga in Japan.
Finally, perhaps what struck me most of the hearing with which I began the post, is that some Japanese colleagues gathered there (who are some of the few shunga researchers worldwide, I would be sufficient the fingers of my hands to tell), are anticipating the success of insurance will display at the British so (and with the help of the media) try to force the production of a public display of shunga Japanese and many Japanese collections in Japan.

NOTES 1. On account of the eruption of the volcano in Iceland, this workshop will be postponed for 12 to 13 September this year.

What Is The Biggest Sunfish Sailboat

Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston

texts and commentaries in other mine outside this blog, I talked about the extreme importance for any study on is carried out shunga and for those who are released to make direct contact with those media that support functions for these images. Although academic research shunga started very recently, most notably in the 1990 (1) , quite often we find some publications based their study on reproduction of these parts, thus avoiding both essential aspects of their physicality and their narrative contexts, such as the fact that these pieces are rarely produced in isolation, but as illustrations of books ( Enpon 艶 本), albums ( kumimono 组 物) or rolls illustrated ( emaki 絵 巻).
However, the great dilemma that we face many of the few that we have dedicated to this object of study, where those collections and how to get access to these parts. This is why I decided to create a new section on the blog to raise awareness of some of the collections of shunga most important (and less important as well) we know today.
Of course, you'll submit those collections in various posts, on the subject include Blog, are only those to which I had Aces or I know. There remain anonymous in many private collections shunga and other institutions that have kept denying their existence.
begin this section with one of the Japanese art collections in major U.S. of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston . In addition to important pieces of Buddhist art, as well as other circuits and periods, which owns the museum through the efforts of Ernest Fenollosa (1853-1980), Kakuze Okakura (1862-1913), and other collectors and key figures Bostonian society in the late nineteenth century (2) , this institution has the collection of ukiyo-e world's largest that is outside of Japan.

Photos: Left, north entrance of the museum, right, photo of Bigelow on a pilgrimage to a Buddhist temple.

With approximately 50.000 pictures, a considerable part of this collection was formed by the physician and art collector William Sturgis Bigelow Japanese (1850-1926). Bigelow began to structure its collection during the time he lived in Japan, late nineteenth century, and his return to Boston donated to the Museum, along with the other parts assembled. One of the conditions imposed was that Bigelow to the Museum his collection of ukiyo-e never be displayed, in order to ensure the preservation of the colors of the prints, which deteriorate rapidly on contact with light, so that only access to them for many years were to specialists and through reproductions that were published in various books and catalogs. Fortunately, some five years ago there were major changes in the staff of the Museum, and several projects were launched, one aimed at digitizing the entire collection of ukiyo-e . This project, led by the new curator of the collection of ukiyo-e , Sarah E. Thompson has so far managed to digitize approximately 80% of all parts, including the Bigelow collection, which first can be seen through the Museum's databases, available via the Web.
As is logical to assume that the collection of ukiyo-e Museum should have shunga. This section of the library, which is mostly made up of illustrated books and prints drawn from some albums, it also comes largely from what Bigelow bought in Japan. Account Puritan policies (3) as well as the lack of previous researchers Museum, all those books shunga remained in boxes along nearly 100 years. It's just from changes in the museum, which I mentioned earlier, for the first time you launch a job cataloging these pieces (which is still in process), which is also considered its future digitization.

The collection of shunga Museum consists of 50 paintings shunga, 210 titles of picture books, enpon (many of them formed by two or three volumes), and 72 prints drawn from albums (some of which still remain as part of the original game, such as copying Sode no maki 袖 の 巻, Torii Kiyonaga illustrator 鸟 居 清 长 (1752-1815), one of the best preserved I have seen). A considerable number of books are enpon nineteenth century, and that Bigelow has acquired them shortly after they are published, by the conditions imposed on the collection, and have been kept almost a hundred years their conservation status and quality of the colors are really gorgeous. Some of the works of Kuniyoshi and Kunisada I could look there for a few months, appear to have been brought into a time machine directly from Edo. This is a feature highlights of the collection of the Museum shunga, rarely found in what has been preserved to this day. Even the excellent collection of Nichibunken (International Research Center for Japanese Studies) in Kyoto, not compete with some of the copies of the Boston Museum.
Finally, the pictures I'm including here in the post are some photos I could take a tiny part of the collection of shunga the museum, in a very short stay of three days I did in March last . All the examples I've included are books enpon the first half of the nineteenth century Utagawa Kunisada illustrator (who we mentioned in previous post).

NOTES 1. While it is true that the main focus in this regard from those years, there were isolated cases prior to that date, as the text of Tom & Mary Anne Evans, Shunga: The art of love in Japan (Paddington Press, New York, 1975) or in the case of Yoshida Japanese research Teruji 吉田 映 二 (1901-1972), Richard Lane (1936-2002) and, above all, the important work of Yoshikazu Hayashi 林 美 一 (1922-1999).
2. Two excellent recent texts that address the activity of collecting Japanese art in the city of Boston in the late nineteenth century are: Christine ME Guth, Longfellow's Tattoos . Tourism, Collecting, and Japan (University of Washington Press, Seattle, 2004) and Christopher Benfey, The Great Wave. Guilded Age Misfits, Japanese Eccentrics, and the Opening of Old Japan (Random House, New York, 2004).
3. In conversation with the curator of the library, Sarah E. Thompson, I knew that very few people had access to these parts until less than 10 years since the Museum authorities then required that investigators were "serious, married men."

How To Restore Vinyage Formica

The sad story of suspense that keeps Deputy Interior Minister.

is the first national majority. After three years of age he learned that his father also an MP, died "in a run." 30 years after he learned the truth: it was shot a dozen shots at the beginning of the dictatorship
.
It transformed into the character of the week after the riots in the House of Representatives with Interior Minister Rodrigo Hinzpeter, such a level that is on the line to the secretary of state, first because the senator presented a complaint against this Tuesdays and opposition MPs have threatened to refuse entry to the sittings of the House to the Secretary of State, if not apologize publicly. Another measure

bet MPs (if they Hinzpeter not public apologies Espinoza) is to leave the floor whenever it reaches the minister in the House or make a surprise protest against the interior minister. "We are exposed any minister to use that platform, with an anonymous, false and reviled for parliamentarians, as did Hinzpeter "said a parliamentary DC.

" So we can not ignore this situation, "he adds." reaching the final. At stake is the honor not only of Spinoza, but that's all. So democracy is degraded and perverted politics, "the deputy said indignantly DC already devising action against the stubborn Hinzpeter minister made a tepid apology on Thursday." Excuses to Hinzpeter "headlined the popular Daily News LasUltimas.

Espinoza is not easy to tame, "I called the party president, Fulvio Rossi, to tell me que Hinzpeter me invitaba a tomar un té a La Moneda.

The foray into public service was first deputy national majority in the recent parliamentary election, began in 1995 when he worked in the Solidarity and Social Investment (FOSIS) of the X region, until 1998. In the years 1996 to 2000 was devoted to his profession of teacher in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Lagos.

Later, in the years 1998 to 2000 he was regional secretary for Transport and Telecommunications, Tenth Region. In 2000 to 2001, Head of Administration and Finance Division of the Regional Government, GORE, Tenth Region, and in the years 2001 to 2002 he served as a researcher at the Center for Regional Studies at the University of Los Lagos in Osorno.

While still a college student was a leader at the University of Los Lagos, 1990 to 1994, from 1994 to 1996, was president of the Young Socialists in the province of Llanquihue, then regional president of the same. During the years 2000 to 2002, became president of the Socialist Party provincial Llanquihue.

also headed the campaign of presidential candidate Ricardo Lagos Escobar, District 56 and in December 2001 elected deputy, representing the PS, by the District, Region X, from 2002 to 2006.

In December 2005 he was reelected Member for the same District No. 56, which comprises the districts of Fresia, Frutillar, Llanquihue, Los Muermos, Puerto Octay, Puerto Varas Puyehue, Purranque and Black River. Just as in 2009 where he earned the first national majority of 120 deputies who are in parliament with 51.33 percent.

"I think that much of the percentage of that vote that I placed as the first national majority, is the work I've done in the field, with the social organizations, neighborhood associations, sports clubs, helping them manage resources and projects to benefit their organizations, to also benefit thousands of people in my area, "he says. His

large and dramatic pain

The December 2, 1973, at the beginning of the dictatorship in the sector Frutillar by police personnel and the Air Force, was killed at age 33, Luis Espinoza Villalobos, a member of the Party father of the current Socialist MP, who was only three years old when the incident occurred.

Three decades later, the only certainty that Fidel Espinoza was on the death of his father was the date he died. The only remaining doubt or, at best, suspect. The official noted that when he was transported from Puerto Montt to Valdivia, the truck was attacked near Frutillar for a subversive and their custodians shot in the dark of night. Amid the confusion, said the rough versions, had fallen mortally wounded.

But today is convinced that it was not. Today we know that his father was shot around 5 am that day on the road between Coihuín Pelluco and very far from where he had been told before, by order of an officer who was not present at the scene but gave "specific instructions to kill him" a pack of six police to have them now fully identified.

Not only that, he also knows the names of those who took him out of jail, who transported him and even those who fired the 12 shots that gave him in the chest, including an officer who lives in Puerto Montt, they call the "captain shrapnel."

All thanks to one of the members of the patrol, troubled by conscience, he wanted to fulfill a promise he made to his father hours before his death, and visited him in his office to tell the truth.

with an emotional charge that can barely control, the MP account these facts.

All names received from this informant apprised of Justice to reopen the case. For now, confirms the participation of only one of them, someone always suspected: "A police lieutenant known locally as John Shrapnel now, now retired, lives in a house opposite the 2nd Precinct of Puerto Montt, well protected by his conscience, I guess. "

"It has always been people who wanted to provide information, but have always been somewhat contradictory versions regarding the place of his death, people who said they had shared with him the last hours of his life. Finally, there were always people ... then, I thought he was one over which I had already heard. But this man sat in front of me and told me in letters that he had participated in the death of my father. The immediate impact was great, did not know Espinoza ...", how to react in an interview recapitulates some time to The Nation.

There was one detail that gave the necessary credibility to the informant's version. "He said he never had a clear conscience, not only by the death of my father, but also because my dad gave him a letter about five hours before he was shot, to be delivered to my mother," she says. That letter never reached its destination, it was lost in moving house. But others had arrived, his father managed to send his family in the months before his death.

"The saddest thing he had heard this was the way as killed. My dad was always a very sociable person, always full of friends .... and killed himself, was not even shot with a partner, "says making efforts not to falter.
Uberlinda

Luis Espinoza had at the time of his death 33 years and four sons, Luis Eduardo 12, Ramon, 11, Patricia now 9 and the deputy, Fidel, barely 3 years to date.

Despite his young age, the MP said he had engraved in his mind the day that police patrol came to his house to inform death, it came to the door driven by the desperate cries of his mother, kneeling on the floor, shouted murderers! by the police.

A story that was key to their colleagues in the House bank, ended up supporting the bill that would reduce penalties and to the exemption because of those witnesses of these facts that are willing to collaborate with justice. A former police anonymously gave details of the murder of his father. He himself had participated in the squad ... Fidel Espinoza

also learned other painful details, as the cruel torture he was subjected his father every other day, in a place where he has been many times, but never imagined that which has been used for such purposes : In the fourth floor of the government of Llanquihue.

"I know that this was the place where more were tortured and then taken as a package, even unconsciously, to the headquarters of the Investigative Police of Puerto Montt," he said on more than chance with deep regret. Today

kept in suspense to the head of government cabinet Piñera, for accusing him through an anonymous women using google paying only 40 thousand dollars a month.
"At stake is my honor and my family. Without apology, force me to take him to court" said the deputy.

is the brief history of the teacher and deputy first national majority and remember to this day on December 73 when a squad of police came to his house in the south and his mother was crying helplessly.
The police car to his mother informing him that the deputy Luis Espinoza was killed "by an escape attempt." Fidel was three and observe clearly that scene that marked his life forever.
On Thursday, Rep. Mary Hoffmann UDI naively asked Congress to "not know where it came from so much resentment of the Member Espinoza."
The answer is rather obvious ...

CUBA: Cuba releases dissident blogger

.

all started in April when the blogger and independent journalist in Cuba, Virgin Dania García, was sentenced to prison for "abuse of authority" after an argument with his daughter for 23 years. Now, the court changed its mind and decided to release her, under penalty of U.S. $ 13.

The case was very controversial because groups like the Inter American Press Association (IAPA) called him a "political ploy" by the government.

Dania García, 41, who writes for U.S. sites of the Cuban opposition and supporter of the Damas de Blanco (mothers and wives of jailed dissidents) said that the prosecution changed "precautionary measure" against him and acknowledged it was "unfair to have come to prison."

spent fifteen days in the high security prison in Havana Black Mantle, after being arrested last April 21 and sentenced two days later. Avoid

bad international press

Garcia said that the prosecution acknowledged that it was "unfair to have come to prison."
The release coincides, as he explained the BBC correspondent in Cuba, Michael Voss, with the government's decision to allow a march of the Ladies in White, after the intervention of the Catholic Church. According

the leader of the Cuban Commission for Human Rights, Elizardo Sánchez, "the fact that Garcia is a militant dissident led us to suspect that the process was a trap to get her out of circulation."

Sanchez added that the release of Garcia and allow the march of the Ladies in White are a "sign" indicating that Cuban leaders are trying to avoid bad press outside their borders.

Cuban authorities, said BBC correspondent in Cuba, "deny that political prisoners, calling them mercenaries paid by the U.S. to undermine the system."

Exhibition at Japan Society, Raikes, spider earth, and further notes on Kuniyoshi

After several weeks of leaving the blog, on behalf of some trips and other various reasons, would like to start the avalanche of posts I'll be uploading in the next two months (to somehow try to redeem myself of absence), with some excellent notes on Kuniyoshi exhibition that opened last month in the Japan Society Gallery in New York and other comments around one of the best known of the illustrator and part of the sample, The Raikes and ground spider.
The exhibition in question, which is open until June 13 this year, is one of the best and most complete examples of the work of Utagawa Kuniyoshi 歌 川 国 芳 (1797-1861) I've seen, and are organized in the last 15 years. Graphic entitled Heroes, Monsters Magic (1) , feeds mainly from the private collection of Arthur R. Miller, who also just donate to British Museum. Indeed, the chief curandor Japanese collection of this institution, Timothy Clark, was the one who made both curatorial work, as well as catalog , I highly recommend to those interested in Kuniyoshi and ukiyo-e general because not only is an updated study on the life and work of nineteenth century Japanese illustrator, but includes the odd discovery interesting, and images of rare books.
addition to the known tryptic Kuniyoshi themed warriors and phantasms (Musha-e 武 者 絵), subject to pitch to this illustrator poularidad had to compete against strong business drive and his contemporary illustrators the likes of Keisai 渓 斎 英 泉 Eisen (1790-1848), Utagawa Hiroshige 歌 川 広 重 (1797-1858), Katsushika Hokusai 葛 饰 北 斎 (1760-1849) or, its biggest rival, Utagawa Kunisada 歌 川 国 贞 ( 1786-1865), display also devotes considerable space to other aspects of their production as they were the "beautiful women" (Bijin-ga 美人 画), landscapes ( 风景画 fūkei-ga), the prints of actors in the theater 歌舞 伎 kabuki ( Yakusho-e 役 者 絵) and humor (especially from his "cartoons" or "crazy prints," 狂 画 Kyoga).

is fair to the latter category ( Kyoga), but also relates to the theme of Warriors (Musha-e ), which owns the image you want to make a few notes here: Yorimitsu Minamoto no-Ko or Tsuchigumo yōkai Yakata zu wo nasu 源 頼 光 公馆 土 蜘 作 妖怪 図 (ground spider produces monsters in the mansion Yorimitsu Minamoto), edited by Ibay Senzaburō 伊 场 屋 仙 三郎 in the summer of 1843. This triptych by Kuniyoshi is widely known on account of an alleged legal process raised against his illustrator and his editor, at the peak of the editorial controls Tenpo Reform. I am not interested here comment on the process in question, since on this topic abound in another future post (2) , but at least mention the time that people took this picture as an open criticism of the situation caused by the reforms, and the nightmares that the "ghosts" and the spider caused the rulers of the time.
Of course, it prácicamente impossible to determine whether this was the real intention or publisher Kuniyoshi, however, the pieces were withdrawn from the market and printing blocks destroyed, and this fact is just the trigger for an abundant production of reprints, as well as pirated versions and alternatives of the triptych, as I'm inserting here below. Of these, the first is likely to be the original version, the following three are illegal or pirated versions, and the last three are alternate versions of the illustrators Utagawa Sadahide 歌 川 贞 秀 (1807-1873), Toyohara Kunichika 豊 原国 周 (1835-1900), and Hokuki (dates unknown).

NOTES:
1. I put here some links of reviews that on about the exhibition and the catalog appeared in ArtRepublic , The New York Times and Suite101.
2. On this picture and the alleged legal process just finished an article that was delivered last week, and will appear in the journal Studies Asia and Africa, the Colmex , before the year is out. Once published, is included in the blog a link to your electronic file .
